PinPoint Restaurant Hosts An Evening on Point, a Kickoff Dinner for Wilmington Wine & Food Festival with Guest Chef Scott Howell of Nana’s in Durham, NC

PinPoint Restaurant will host An Evening on Point—a kick-off dinner for the Wilmington Wine & Food Festival on Tuesday, April 12 starting at 6:30PM with guest chef Scott Howell of Nana’s in Durham, NC. PinPoint Chef Dean Neff and Howell are collaborating on the special five course dinner that will be paired with Austrian wines from Bordeaux Fine and Rare and Amy Siler. The dinner is $85 per person and the menu is as follows:

 

1st Course, Chef Dean Neff

Smoked sturgeon with puffed Anson Mills black rice, gomasio, uni-crème fraiche, and preserved local citron

 Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the charities of the Wilmington Wine & Food Festival—C.A.R.E,. FurEver Friends, Skywatch, and Bellamy Museum.

 Chef Scott Howell, a native of Ashville, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has worked at an impressive array of restaurants including Bouley, Campanile, Magnolia Grill, and Arcadia and worked in Italy for six months at the prestigious San Domenico. He opened Nana’s in 1992 in Durham, NC.
